 Here is an example of harmony also known as unity.  harmony is a union or blend of aesthetically compatible components.

here is an example of emphasis, to create emphasis an artist makes a part of the artwork stand out more than the other parts, to draw the viewer's eye or get their attention

 Here is an example of variety, variety involves the use of differences or constrasts.

here is an example of proportion, proportion refers to the relative size and scale of the various elements in a design.

 here is an example of symetrical balance, if you cut this picture in half you would get the exact same thing on both sides. there are 3 different types of balance this is symetrical.

Here is an example of rhythm. this is an example of rhythm because rhythm repeats its self in a picture and almost appears as if something is moving or happening.

here is an example of shade because the colours start off at light and darken down equalling shade.
